I am really slacking lately aren't I?

I should be sacked for this blog, I haven't posted since August and a lot has happened in my life since then, here is the just the lowdown:

  • College. I've started college, four subjects, seven hours a day, five days a week. Oh the excitement. No it is a ball, seriously - that is sarcasm either! I'm taking Media Studies, which I'm doing really well in, two essay's in and I'm already achieving an A-. Also, Drama, got my devised and scripted assessments coming up, busy with that. History and English Lit, which are okay but a little more difficult and being the lazy soul that I am, I like to complain about.
  • New Friends. With college come new friends and I can't remember a sober Friday night for a few weeks, spent them in Torquay, Exeter and Tiverton, hitting the streets, house parties, raves etc...college has defiantly been a breath of fresh air for me, I feel like I'm really coming into my own.
  • HMS Pinafore. It's all over, all finished. Dick Deadeye is over and out. And he was really good too. Plenty of praise and love, I don't mean to brag or sound big headed - but I was rather good. I'll copy out the reviews from the newspapers and National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) as soon as they come through.
  • Dazzle. That's up next...playing the President of the Homeworld and for the first ever, I'm a father! I'm the oldest in the company this time around so it's going to be tough standing across from that all fresh blood with all their energy.
  • Work, it isn't bad. Hours aren't much to be happy with but I'm sure I can sort it out with in the next few weeks. The only problem is: High School Musical 3. I think I'm going to scream!!
  • Single. I have to say I'm relieved. If I'm honest, I felt slightly suffocated, so it's a relief to have my space again. A plus, there's a few ladies at college I have my eye on! ;)

That's all for now. I promise to try and post more in the next few weeks.

So July had no Posts, Why?

You may have noticed that I didn't post at all in July and some of you may be wondering why that is. Just so your aware, I am now a working man so I have less time on my hands and to be totally honest, I completely forgot about you guys. Now now, don't cry about it - I've just been really busy of late. So what else has been happening in my life?

I got a job at the Tivoli and you kids that don't know, that is the cinema here in Tiverton, now under the ownership of the magical Merlin Cinema's. I'm doing that for a laugh, the pays not bad so there isn't much to complain about. There is certaintly a few hundered more than I would have had, had I took the job at Homebase or Tesco.
I've also had my enrollment letter through and after recieving my results on Thursday (which I'm so not nervous about!) I will then go enroll during the following week. Wow, I'm not only part of the working class but I'm a fucking student as well, wow people are really going to hate me!!
I've learned most of the first act of HMS Pinafore, which I'm performing in September...time is ticking away now and I'm starting to get a little nervous, that and it's the same month I start college. Can you believe, I'm also performing on my birthday, I wanted to go out for a piss up but oh no, I've got to prance around on stage for a couple of hours. I love it really hehe!
Last but not least I have vowed to leave the virtual series world with in the next couple of months. Already breaking my ties with a project I was on, I'm waiting to finish a few things at MZP before I leave there too. Never fear CRR fans, I'm not leaving that behind just yet.

Question is now - Should I get an an Apple Mac or a Packerd Bell, iPower 8620?

Oh and for you TV fans, there is a poll to your right >> about the latest season finales of our favourite shows. Okay my favourite shows...bloody vote anyway! Don't forget to comment, you can subscribe below to :)

Yet Another Ten Things About Mwah...

So I'm bored, you guessed that right? Two blogs in one day, either I'm bored or dying. So here is things 21 to 30 about me, hopefully I can make them more constructive than my noob worthy ones yesterday. "My Mum is cool"; what was I thinking!

21. I'm part of an operatic (we perform musicals) group called the Tiverton Junior Operatics, I'm also a junior member on the commitee. Sometimes though I swear I'm the only one out of the four of us who ever does any bloody work!
Love you really guys.
22. I watch Tru Calling with Eliza Dushku as Tru Davies on Sky One, 2:00 every week day. It makes my day, seriously I'm that sad. If I'm out I record it with my dandy Sky+ and watch it then next day before the next one starts.
Fuck forgot to record it! Ah.
23. I have a friend with bright blonde hair, she's crazy but we love her all the same. And her hair is curly too, which adds to the coolness. But seriously, her hair is really blonde!
24. Kelly Clarkson rules. Seriously, she's the best thing to have come out of reality TV. So gutted I missed her in concert when she was in Plymouth. Favorite tracks: Gone, Because of You, Never Again and You Found Me.
25. Doctor Who. *puts up my hand* I watched it since NuWho has started and have even found the time to watch some classic Who too. David Tennant still comes up trumps for me, he makes a fantastic Doctor. I might also be the only person in the world who is loving Catherine Tate as Donna Noble.
26. I'm a liberal democrate. I always loved the underdog and lets face it - the Torries are posh, up tight bastards and the Labour party is just shit.
What other choice is there, the racist BNP! Fuck no.
27. I hate worthless celebrities like Lindsey Lohan, Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Peaches Geldof. Okay the first three do have actual talent but after the last couple of years there just as bad, if not worse than the celebrities famous for being celebs.
28. Never taken drugs or smoked. Don't plan on it either. And I'm talking illegal substances not stuff like Calpol (yummy) or painkillers.
29. I have a Nokia, Carl Zeiss phone on 3.
30. I have an Xbox 360, PS2 and PSP. I also used to have a PS1. The 360 is by far the best platform, PS3 is overrrated and haven't improved much from the PS2. Waste of money. 360 forever. lol

The Big Social Networking Blog

How many social networking sites are there now? Bebo, Facebook, Myspace and Zorpia are just a few that come to my mind, all of them four I have been a member of at some time or another.
Bebo, is probably the one I use most, it's reasonably quick and is pretty popular with my friends however there is many downsides...there are now hundreds of applications you can add to your page and some people feel the need to use as many as possible. This can be irrating and can make the page load really slowly. Another problem with Bebo is the main population of the site are chavs, not only this but the staff feel it acceptable for girls to plaster images of themselves in their underwear, sitting on they're beds in postions that leave nothing to the imagination. How can this be acceptable? Some of the girls are no older than twelve or thirteen, may I add the age for legal sex in the UK is 16 and the viewing of pornography is 18...Bebo is like phedo's haven.
Facebook. The first thing that strikes me is the ridiculous loading time, you don't have to anything on your page and the waiting period is almost unbareable. I have a fast computer and secure internet (broadband) speed but Facebook is so bizarre! Like Bebo it has loads of applications, this makes loading time even worse. The upside to Facebook is the more mature feel they there, it's very much an adult populated network, which is great. Even my Mum has Facebook!
Myspace - probably my favorite but it seems barely anyone I know use it. It's a shame really as it's the best network in my opinion and it's not slow either. Every page also looks different, you can use your page to reflect your personality.
Zorpia...not even worth mentioning. It's like perve centeral and I didn't even bother making a page, I only joined to spy on a friend. XD

So social networking? Good or bad? Or which one is the best?

Another Ten Things about Me!

11. I'm recently starred as Jack Scott in the stage verison of High School Musical (yes, that thing!).

12. I am set to star as Dick Deadeye in the Tiverton Amatuar Operatic Society's Broadway show, HMS Pinifore. This is going to be the big one, so much to learn, so little time!

13. Friday the 13th are never unlucky for me, in fact they can be the opposite sometimes.

14. I am a massive Doctor Who and Torchwood fan and I must be the only diehard fan who actually likes Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. Yes I have been Donnafried!

15. I have a Kylie calander in my bedroom, hung on the wall beside my PC. It has all of my important dates in it - apart from my Birthday, from about now it is!

16. I'm taken, at the moment anyway. ;)

18. My Mother. My Mum is cool, I'm not afraid to mention it, she is the coolest Mum ever!!!

19. I am frightened of spiders, snakes, rats and most things that crawl. Even dogs, which don't crawl but bark and barking scares me.

20. I love my vegatables. Give me a roast dinner filled to the brim with vegatables anyday.

101 Things About Me

I've seen this around on a few blogs which I read and I thought I'd give it a go myself - so on every blog I do from now till I've finished I'm going to list ten things about myself that you may already know or maybe something you don't know. I'll try to make them as interesting as possible - and I'm fully aware that I've just posted a blog but I didn't want to let this idea run away from me as I know I'll have lots of fun with it.

So lets get started here and now shall we, ten things about me:

1. I have a huge passion for acting, it's the soul thing I really want to do with my life and it's where all my interests lie.

2. I'm crap at all sports. This isn't just because I don't particular like it, cause I love watching football but I just can't do anything. Must be something to do with my hand eye coordination - I've tried Golf, couldn't swing the club properly. Tried tennis, couldn't hit the ball more than once a game! I've had a go at rugby, too scared of getting seriously injured. Football, not good enough! The list goes on - the only thing I can do is swimming and I would nevee do that competively again either.

3. I absoluetly love Mexican food, espcielly fajitas and nachos. Ever want me to be your friend, take me to a Mexican restraunt and say you love Mexican food. I'll love you too!

4. Exeter College. It's the college I've chosen to go too; I'm taking English Lit, Drama, Media and 20th Century History. Yay me!

5. I'm unemployed - still. I have never will power to get a job, I know working in Argos or WH Smith isn't really what I want to do in life!

6. I have three cats, Ketchup, Kirby and Archie. Ketchup is nine, Kirby is about seven and Archie is six months old in April. Kirby kind of ran away and comes back for a dinner sometimes, think like a college kid, comes back to his/her parents to wash her/his dirty laundary - that's Kirby, he always gives me a long hug though. Archie is the cutest, I'll have to put some pictures of him up - he's a gorgous little boy!

7. I don't have ANY best friends. That's right I'm a loner, I have no friends - just joking! No I don't have any best friends, I have too many close friends just to choose one or two. It would be unfair on the ones I wouldn't choose, I'm nice like that!

8. Newcastle. It's where half of my family have from, it's also the football and rugby teams I support. Go Magpies, go you Falcons!

9. Hilary Clinton. I hate her - I don't personally know the woman but she annoys the hell out of me and she is a stuck up that doesn't deserve the big chair in the whitehouse. I'm not American but I am following the election process - go Obama!

10. I'm obbessed with Alyssa Milano. I love her. She is such a kind, giving woman who is also a beautiful talented actress. Love her and I love Charmed! If your reading this Alyssa, call me!

Where have I been - not on another planet!

So life's been a little more busy than normal and I haven't really had time for blogging, it hasn't helped that I forgot what email I put it on - it would make sense that it's on my latest one wouldn't it! It was funnily enough, why didn't I think of that?
So blondeness aside it's time to get down to business, I need to tell you guys what I've been up too - nothing really exciting however. So I've finished my History coursework and I've almost given up on my Citizenship coursework , (I certaintly gave Ofsted enough to talk about when it came to that subject! More on that later...) also doing my Maths and Science exams and finally preparing my Drama piece, which woulkd get me most of my marks. I'm currently on an A/A* and it really relys on this last piece being brillant - after the public performance a few weeks ago I thought my dreams as an actor were over, our piece was a mess! Luckily, after working nearly ever day after school (annoying having the bank hoilday stealing alot of our rehursal time) we've really got something we can be proud of now.

Outside the boring walls of Tiverton High - I've finished performing as the cool as a cucumber DJ from East High, Jack Scott. High School Musical finished in Febuary and I think we did pretty dam well, actually we blew the film off the stage. You don't know how much work that show was, dancing, singing and acting all at the same time - the latter two is easy for me but thinking about dance moves aswell can be tricky. Not only this but all the kids in the audience are comparing us against the film, which isn't really a fair comparison - lets face none of them actually sang and danced at the same time. Not only this but they had a year of practise and thousands of takes to get it right - we had about four months of rehursals and only one take to get it perfect!

After the show I was invited to do another show with another company, so that'll be fun. Not only this but I'm doing it with adults rather than a load of screaming kids - frankly I'm fed up of shouting at the little minors! As a commitee member it's part of the job unfortunatly and I've never done it more than I have this year, I can't remember kids behaving this bad in the past.

Ofsted. Well lets save that for when we get the report back, it will definatly be interesting to see what they make of the interview they had with me! I'm probably not the best person to repersent the school when it comes to an inspection, I'll be bloody honest - I guess that's why the Head (Hitman, yes the guy from the video games!) loves me so much!
